A Wish for a Friend

This is getting personal, but it is nice sometimes to act like a hopeless sentimental romantic. Don’t easily accuse me of being a heartless, cold and insensitive virago. I keep this other side of me only for special times and moments. Haha.

This is for my soon leaving friend, Hakimah.

p.s. I will always remember that repetition of ‘La taghdibi, ya Ifni!’ (Don’t be angry, Afni!) – a cover version by Hakimah, originally said by our Arabic teacher in Cairo.
